The Puget Sound Regional Council Set a goal of 1.66 jobs/household. In Shoreline the ratio is 0.78 jobs per household.
This means that most of our citizens have to travel outside of Shoreline to work.

According to the King County Annual Growth Report Shoreline had 1,193 Business Units and 16,187 jobs

According to the Puget Sound Regional Council 2008 Report Shoreline had 17,035 jobs.
